This is an online study preparing our minds and hearts for the Advent of Christ.
What does Advent mean to you? Advent literally means "the coming". It is about us preparing for an arrival. It is about us being excited for anticipated company. It is about Jesus coming to earth and moving in with us. GOD with us, Emmanuel. When invited He moves into our lives. Jesus was not welcomed to earth with hospitality but with hostility and no special room was prepared for Him. “He came unto His own yet His own received him not.” He was born in a manger because there was no room for Him in the inn. Let us prepare our hearts to be hospitable. He entered our broken world to bring it back to what it was before in the Garden of Eden. We will read the same Scriptures and share our thoughts with each other by group email. This will be 2 days per week but you do not have to respond every day.
