Country Fall Fair
September 26, 2017
21 degrees and sunshine provided great weather for our 3rd annual Fall Fair! On Sat, September 23rd, our church yard was a buzz with bouncy castles, a petting zoo, Chemainus Firefighters and their all-terrain rescue vehicle, a clown, a cupcake walk, live music, and crazy fun games. Oh, and the food! Tables were brimming with homemade pies for silent auction, buttery corn on the cob was free, hotdogs, cotton candy, candy bags, italian sodas, popcorn and Hummingbird ice cream were some of the yummy things we tasted. Children giggling with blue ice cream smiles, laughter coming from the bouncy castles, and happy screams from the rides on the rescue vehicle were some of the sounds we heard. Dads showing off with kids on their backs in piggyback races, hay flying as kids searched for missing coins in the hay bales, little ones fascinated by baby goats, and balloon creations made by the clown were some of the sights we saw. What a great community Chemainus is! Thank you everyone for attending and making this an event we look forward to every year.
